Bemerkungen: Radom Airport (EPRA) – Pilot Note (Apr 2026)
IFR visit from Germany. Mandatory handling via Welcome Airport Services (executive.rdo@welcome-as.pl). Cost ~100 PLN all-in. Very professional and friendly.
New civil/military airport with modern terminal, low commercial traffic but frequent training/ILS flights.
IFR ops smooth. Standard arrivals – brief in advance. Tower handled full descent. Wide runway helpful in strong crosswind.
Below FL100 expect limited radar service (Class E). Plan frequencies carefully; above FL100 easier.
ATIS only via NOTAM, during military ops. Check tower hours – limited.
GA parked on jet stands. Handling includes transport and fuel truck. Jet A-1 available (~€2.70/l). Avgas unclear.
Modern facilities, hotel and restaurant on site. Overall very positive.
Near Warsaw (~1h south).
